TEADIT LAUNCHES THE MOST RECENT EDITION OF THE BOOK INDUSTRIAL GASKETS
The 6th edition of the book devoted to Industrial Gaskets, authored by engineering and technical director of Teadit, José Carlos Veiga, revised and updated launched on September 24th, during the Rio Pipeline 2013, at the Convention Center SulAmérica, Rio de Janeiro. The 4th English edition was released on July 2014, during Teadit North America's Open House.
The publication is recognized internationally. It presents in a didactic and enlightening manner the types of gaskets used in pipes and industrial equipment, featuring their main applications and limitations characteristic. The book also explores the installation and leakage causes in a practical and objective way.
José Carlos Veiga, autor da obra
José Carlos Veiga, the author, is a Professional Engineer and the Global Technical Director for the Teadit Group, with his main R& D facility located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He earned his Mechanical Engineering Degree from the Catholic University in Rio de Janeiro and is widely known in the industrial sealing industry as the author of this book "Industrial Gaskets", along with countless other papers and projects.
He is an active member of ASME, PVP, and ASTM. He holds positions in many technical committees that maintain the pure purpose of bringing further definition to Gasket Technology.
